When choosing a Firearms Instructor, you should have the confidence that your choice is someone who has the required experience, knowledge and ability pass on this information in a fun and professional manner, and with a personal touch. Simply being an "Expert" is great, but if you cannot convey that information to someone else, you fail your students.
David is a native of Mooresville, NC. After graduating from high school he joined the US Army where he qualified as "Expert" with the Rifle and Pistol, just to name a few types of firearms. After two years, he crossed over into the US Air Force, where he once again qualified as "Expert" with the Rifle and Pistol. During his time in the military, he was recruited to teach and assist other soldiers and airmen the required skills and techniques to enable them to qualify with the Rifle, Pistol, and other firearms. David also worked with, and along side of an Emergency Response Teams (ERT), the military version of a SWAT team, as well as Combat Search & Rescue while stationed in different overseas locations.
Since his discharge from the military, David has gained valuable experience and developed his teaching skills as a Boy Scot leader, earning the "Scouter of the Year" award, and as a computer instructor for several non-profit agencies throughout the state of North Carolina.
